I am a Journalism major in USIU and we recently organised an event for my PR class dubbed “Behind The Seen. Media Fame and Illusion.”
The days to the event were a bit stressful on my part because I was responsible for producing a short documentary which would eventually be played at the event. In addition to this, I was also the official photographer for the event.
I am happy to say that the day turned out to be quite successful and I gained incredible knowledge from the guests about the Kenyan media industry.
My recently discovered love for production has allowed to me to pursue activities I never knew I was capable of.
I will post the final footage on my vlog today. I hope you all like it.
Learning and growing everyday.
This is what I wore to the event. The theme was red and black and the dress code was official smart. I think I managed to pull it off although finding official clothes in my wardrobe was such a royal pain.
I saw the crates and just HAD to take a photo! Vsco filters made the reds pink…. *hides*
Cheers to future prospects in the media! I am on my way
Here is a parting shot from the incredible Kobi Kihara.
There is nothing wrong with having more than one passion
I will leave you with that. Have an incredible day people!!
