Brush Basics – Flori Roberts

Sooooo… This post is not about brushing teeth or oral hygiene šŸ™‚
If that’s the reason why you came through… Stop, Drop, Roll and Rush to

You’re welcome *Sadie voice*
Hahaha how many of you love Sadie from Awkward like I do?? o/ That girl seriously gives me life!

Helluuurrrrrr!! Hellluuuurrrrr!! (Madea voice) How are you keeping up you fiiiiiine specimen of a human being. You are beautiful. Thank you for dropping by today šŸ˜€ Hugs and loooove!

As I told you all earlier… Flori Roberts cosmetics gave me a major boost in the makeup department and I have been having a blast using and reviewing their products over the past few weeks.
This post today is about their
*Deluxe Badger Brush Set*

I want to take a moment and tell you all about the benefits of using brushes when doing your makeup… But first let me take a self…do a quick survey! šŸ™‚

How many of you are proffesionals when it comes to applying makeup with your index fingers???

No one?

Stop lying!! šŸ˜€

Well, I would have vouched for all of you mkono makeup artists because I was the captain of that club!
(Plus Pat McGreath does makeup with her fingers and she is the best of the best so…yaaaaaa)

Somebody lied šŸ™‚
I lied.
I used brushes before but the quality was very questionable (damn you China) and I would rather not talk about that experience šŸ˜€ moving on swiftly…

Brushes are important because:-
1. The application is smoother and more even.
2. Brushes are reusable.
3. They are more sanitary.
4. Best of all… You can go all Picasso on your face and beat it to perfection!!!! It really is the best canvas..Ā  Brushes give you that artistic feeling and that is reason enough to use them. That’s true for me anyway šŸ™‚

My first reaction when I touched the bristles of the Flori Roberts powder brushes was close to orgasmic.

I know it sounds super exaggerated but waaaa… The texture was so soft! It felt like you were being massaged by a soft animal thing (an Italian Badger to be precise) I know that isn’t the description you were looking for but.. believe me when I say that their entire brush set was crafted to perfection to elevate makeup application to an art form.
